Sport 2000

ANWR-Garant does not keep inventory but manages the webshop www.sport2000.nl. FashionUnited Indicia has advised and assisted ANWR-Garant in developing an infrastructure and a process and message flow between entrepreneurs (8 different types of POS systems), the ERP systems of sport suppliers (dozens, including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Protest, Hummel, and Falke), and the underlying systems at ANWR-Garant (PIM, webshop, and retail management system: RMS). eBiss in combination with eGate is thus the central, intelligent, and transparent connectivity system for the entire operation:

The suppliers of Sport2000 provide their assortment data (full-PRICAT data) to ANWR via EDI. ANWR enhances the data with central codes for product groups and color codes, ensuring uniformity for the products regardless of the supplier. The enriched data is stored at ANWR in an Article Pool (an additional module of eBiss). After the pre-order period, the supplier sends an order confirmation (ORDRSP) to the eBiss of ANWR for each entrepreneur. ANWR's eBiss forwards this purchase order (ORDRSP) with the enriched data from the Article Pool (PRICAT_plus) to the entrepreneur, who is connected to the MessagingCenter of FU Indicia. At the time of delivery (several months after the pre-order), the supplier sends an electronic packing slip per entrepreneur/shop (DESADV) to ANWR. ANWR's eBiss forwards this packing slip to the entrepreneur, with a copy to the RMS system (shadow administration of the whole, used to update the inventory per shop). After that, the goods are sold in the stores and online, resulting in daily SLSRPT and INVRPT from the shops to ANWR. ANWR's eBiss forwards the SLSRPT and INVRPT to its RMS system to update the shadow administration. eBiss daily forwards a copy of the INVRPT to the webshop system, based on which the availability in the central webshop is updated.

As a result, Sport 2000 has managed to operate a webshop without physical inventory, featuring real-time inventory positions from approximately 75 shops, distributed among about 60 entrepreneurs, using eight different back-office systems. Unique in Europe!

SPORT 2000 is a European sports retail chain with over 3,000 stores in 19 countries. The SPORT 2000 stores in the Netherlands offer a broad (and often deep) range of sports functional products. Additionally, SPORT 2000 also features a large collection of sportswear. All SPORT 2000 stores in the Netherlands are operated by independent entrepreneurs. ANWR-Garant has been the licensee since 2010. Each store determines its own assortment with a specialization in a specific sport.
